Mother's day, Maggie, and musings...

"I had a great Mother's day!" -Rob McKelvy

It was a good Mother's day indeed.  I heard from all 4 of my boys, which is always a treat.  When Mark called he told me it was snowing...I didn't believe him.  My boys always tell me things, and I am so gullible that I believe them 99% of the time.  I was not going to be fooled this time.  But it was, indeed snowing in Denver.  I was fooled again...See the instagram photo of Amber...she calls the weather "Sprinter."  Clever!
Brrrr.  It's cold out here!!!!

This is my new hat from Jordan and Luke...and I got some tubers to plant for some gorgeous ranunculus.  I have to decide where to plant them...

Ian's family joined us for the day...we went out to eat, then came here for some homemade ice cream, and cookies.

my gift...

and two more gifts...

Lately, we have left the cover off the foosball table so when the grandkids come over they can play without asking me to take off the top.  I was working on my computer, and as Maggie sometimes does, she came to help me with my task.  She soon got bored with me, and went over to the foosball table.  Pretty soon she was involved in a tough game of foosball.  Her opponent...herself. ( I was listening to book on CD at the time, so you can hear it playing in the background).  One of the main character's name is Maggie.  If you listen closely, it sounds like a narration to the foosball game.

The light was so beautiful this morning, and the wind was not blowing.  The day called me go out to take some photos.

We have a ton of ladybugs all over our plants...which is a good thing.

Our Mexican buttercups have gone wild...

inviting path...

Before Warren went to work this morning he cut back one of our rose bushes.  I did not want the roses to go to waste, so I put them in a jar, and photographed them.  Maggie was right there to help me with my set up.

Hey, what are you doing?...I can help you...

Helping me...

Here is one of my final products which I am submitting to my "Be Still 52 class...

Too pretty to toss out...

Now for the dumb thing I did today: I dropped my cell phone in the toilet.  It seems to be working all right, but the ringtone is hardly discernible...it is very soft.  So, if you call me, be patient...I might not be able to hear my phone ringing.  I tried drying it with a hairdryer, and then put it in rice.  Maybe that will work.  I sure hope so.  Otherwise, I might miss a lot of calls.  Be blessed...
